The Latino community are very expressive group of people. We talk very loud, we laugh very hard and we like color. I think because our surrounding is very colorful. The blue of the sky, the green of the forest, the different color of the food we like to eat. Color is everywhere. The project I am working as a resident engineer inspector the architect decided to let the building be white. I like it mainly because there is the color of the sea, the sand and the palm tree all around it. The south façade of the building has a PVC Pipe install. The color of the PVC Pile is 7 different random color.
The color is selected by the architect, but the location of each color is selected randomly by the installer. I let you now later what happens.
In my home, my husband and I are the architect. We decide what color and where it goes. It was a big, loud and intense decision. We started cleaning the wall surface, we are too many people my husband does the cleaning part. I took photos of our home and started playing with color. We live near a creek; the house is surrounded by the green of the trees and the sound of the water. We are both civil engineer, at work we are surrounded by the grey of the concrete. And we both are Latino, we like color. The color of this year in my life is orange. I incorporate touch of color orange to the house.

My life is surrounded by color, the color orange of the sky when the sun is rising in the morning, the color of the kids drawing in my kitchen wall, the color of my husband favorite baseball team. Jim Carry express how color help him with life, I couldn't agree more.
